Mountains, clouds, and a loved one—when these three come together, they create a very special kind of love. Amid the hustle of city life, daily work pressure, and the monotony of routine, we suddenly felt the need to escape to the mountains for a while.
Within just three days, a few of us mountain lovers decided, “Let’s go to the hills and enjoy some hot momos!”
No sooner said than done. We quickly booked our train tickets and set off for North Bengal, planning to explore a quiet offbeat village.
After a few hours of journey, we reached a beautiful small village in Upper Sittong. Surrounded by dense mountain forests, peaceful silence, and the breathtaking view of Kanchenjunga standing tall in the distance—the place felt nothing less than a dream.
The homestay where we stayed had an incredible location. The morning mist, clouds covering the hills, birds chirping, and the cool mountain breeze made it feel as if nature itself was gently offering us a moment of peace.
When you want to take a break from the busy rhythm of life, places like this become truly priceless. Spending a few days away from the noise of the city made our hearts feel refreshed, as if we had learned to live again.
For us, it was truly an unforgettable experience—one that will stay in our memories for a long time.
